St. Louis native, Will Grant, also known as DJ Shyy has been a DJ for 7 years. He started out curating sets in the genre of Trap but quickly began to realize that it wasn’t his best fit.
Once he was introduced to Club Killers Radio as well as Pitbull’s Globalization on SiriusXM from a prior DJ company he was apart of, Shyy then began to transform into an open format DJ ranging from hip-hop to house while continuing to take on more genres such as latin and afrobeats. He constantly strives to grow at his craft and continues to ask the same question after every set, “How can I be better next time?”
With a “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” mentality along with having Gordo, DJ Snake and Tiesto as his influences, DJ Shyy loves to bring a Vegas-style party energy to the crowd with his seamless transitions and his love for all styles of music, especially 2000’s throwbacks. He can also keep it groovy yet upbeat when opening for artists such as Breathe Carolina and Quix.
Now residing in Austin, Texas, Shyy has made a name for himself performing at some of the top venues in the city, holding residencies at both Cantina 512 and Greenlight Social! This is only the beginning of what’s to come!
